150 people form a human bicycle to promote sustainable mobility in Pamplona with LIFE+RESPIRA

Pamplona, May 10. 150 people participated in the formation of a giant human bike in Pamplona’s Town Hall Square to promote sustainable mobility, adding to the LIFE+RESPIRA campaign, a project funded by the European Union. Participants prior to the formation in the Square, participated in a bike ride all through the streets of Pamplona, from the University of Navarra’s Science Department down Pío XII Avenue, Ejército Avenue, Carlos III Street, and ending in the Town Hall Square where the unique staging took place.

The project’s technical team and volunteers, representatives of collaborative organizations and members of the general public joined the ride.

Are you also a superhero? If you move by bike, become a volunteer.

Our objective is to demonstrate that it is possible to improve the quality of air that pedestrians and cyclists breathe in Pamplona.

To obtain data we are looking for people who will receive training and equipment to carry out the following tasks:

Keep a record of the number of cyclists who pass specific points throughout Pamplona.
Collect information about the cyclists on their passing by.
Participate throughout the project by putting a sensor in his or her bicycle that will collect data for the project´s development.

Throughout the project we will organize various informational sessions and you will have all the tools needed to carry out the tasks.

You will contribute to taking care of the environment and welfare of those around you with your work.

The only requirements to participate are being 18 orolder, and being a regular bike-rider in Pamplona.
